Yap Chee Wei started his auditing career as an audit assistant and grew to become an Audit Principal over a span of 21 years in 4 different international accounting firms.

His vast experience includes auditing of public and private limited companies as well as multinational companies from various industries. He has also dealt with counterparts and clients from various countries, including China, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore etc. Besides statutory audits, he was also involved in internal audit engagements, due diligence, reviewing financial forecast and projections.

Yap is a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
