Teh Sew Hong started as an auditor with PwC, one of the Big Four accounting firms and left for investment banks after a 6 year stint in the audit profession. She spent 8 years in the corporate finance departments of 3 investment banks, Affin Investment Bank Berhad, Bumiputra Merchant Bank Berhad and Alliance Investment Bank Berhad. From 2002 to 2006, she assumed the role as General Manager, Corporate Finance of an insurance group, advising on corporate finance and advisory activities within the group of companies. From 2006 to 2009, she was the Director, Corporate Finance of a boutique advisory firm licensed with the Securities Commission.

She possesses over 25 years of professional working experience in the fields of auditing, accounting, financial management accounting, corporate finance and advisory services, taxation, company secretarial and insolvency services. She is currently sitting on the Board of two public listed companies

Sew Hong is a Fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and member of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA).
